Market Day:
Market Day was a massive success for everyone involved. This year Market Day was held outside. The outdoor market was a massive change to our normal indoor market. There were loads of creative products on sale. Market Day was limited to the 1st and 2nd year to attend. This change was a huge success. The marketing of the products this year was stupendous. The normal process of talking about the product physically to the students was not allowed and a video shown in class replaced it and gave students a better understanding of the goods being sold on Market Day.

Multicultural week:
Multicultural week is this week and there are many things to look forward to this week such as music in the morning from all the different nationalities in our school. Friday we have our multicultural fashion show. This is not like every other year, due to covid-19 restrictions a pre-recorded video will be shown in class. A big well done to the student council for organising the week under hard circumstances.
ETB ‘Winter Connect’ event:
On the 10th of December, four talented 6th-year students travelled to Tallaght to record a song for the ETB ‘Winter Connect’ event. The 6th year students are Naomi Ibeh, Praise Akintokun, Sean Mulvey, and Sidney Verguiero. The event will be streamed live to all ETB schools, this includes ColaistePobail Setanta, on the 17th of December at 10 am. This is a wonderful achievement for our fellow senior students and for Setanta.
Further Information
We are hoping to publish this newsletter every two weeks and we would love students to give us information about important activities going on in school. We will be creating a survey for you to complete and to tell us the vital information that this newsletter requires. Students can also email Ms. O' Donovan about anything you want us to add to the newsletter.
