Welcome back after the weekend, we are still open and working as normal. We have taken all reasonable steps to ensure our staff and students are as safe as possible from the spread of the Corona Virus. Our website has all the information needed and there are posters in every bathroom and reception giving hygiene and health information. Please remind all students of the importance of cleaning their hands thoroughly and to avoid touching their faces and noses as much as possible.
Preparation in the event of closure
All teachers are preparing for the continuation of lessons using email and OneNote in the event of closure. If the College had to close for 2 weeks, we would expect to continue lessons using our OneNote and email system to provide instruction, give exercises and to correct them. Hopefully this will not happen, but we must be prepared. Please ensure that all students have their log in codes to access their OneDrives.
College App.
Last week at our Parents Association Meeting, Michelle Allen launched the College App with our parents. Parents were very pleased with the app and its ease of use and congratulated the College on this innovation. We are now promoting the App to staff and parents to download and use it. We will use both the App mand text messages until the Easter Holidays. After the Easter Holidays, the College will no longer be using text messages as we will have moved to the App completely.
