Croí News:

The Croí Centre held a very successful Christmas coffee morning on Friday 13th December 2019.

Well done to all the Croí students for all their hard work baking and decorating in the lead up to this event.

Thanks to the past and present students, their parents, the parent’s association, staff and management who attended this great event.

We are delighted to announce that the Multisensory Room has been restored to a fully functioning room again.

Croí’s new wellness room will provide another space for students to self-regulate / carry out movement breaks.

Thanks to Mr Sinnott for co-ordinating all this work over the past few months.

On behalf of all our Croí Students and Staff we would like to wish the whole school community a very happy Christmas. Wishing Ye all health and happiness for the Year ahead ❤

Christmas Jumper Day.

Christmas_Jumper_day.png

Well done to all our Christmas Jumper wearers, its great to get into the Christmas spirit. While all these teachers and SNA’s look like butter wouldn’t melt in their mouths, the gloves will be off come next Friday afternoon when they will openly steal from each other without a second thought as “Secret Santa Mania” will grip the staffroom. Survival of the fittest. Also, our staff reception is on this Friday with an option to bring something or donate to the party. This is a lovely event where we get to sit and enjoy each other’s company before we break up for the Christmas.

Christmas Doors

The Christmas Doors competition is in full swing with some fantastic designs and themes throughout the school. There is an emphasis on sustainability this year as we encourage students to use recycled material to upcycle their tutor room doors. We must always keep our environment to the fore of our thoughts.

Our staffroom door has been very tastefully decorated with a “Magi Theme” this year, thanks to the industrious imagination of Aoife O Reilly and Ellen Metzer. A clear leader in the competition.

Finally, on behalf of Gillian, Noel, Michael and myself, I’d like to wish everyone a fabulous Christmas where you get to take time for family and friends and don’t forget yourself. It has been a hectic year to date that has flown by. The SLT and I are very grateful and appreciate of everyone’s hard work and huge efforts this year to meet the challenges that come with meeting the needs of our students. Thank you all most sincerely, this is a fabulous school made up of really genuine individuals that I am so grateful to be counted amongst every day.
