Semester 1 Week 3
Student Target Setting
This year we are running a pilot project with our 2nd Year Maths classes where the students will be taught the skills of reflecting on their progress in Maths and how to set SMART targets for their Semester 1 and 3 exams. The students target result will be inputted to VS Ware in week 6 of Semester 1 so that when the Semester 1 results are made available to parents, the target result and the achieved result will be side by side. It is important to celebrate success and when a student reaches their target, which was set with the help of their Maths teacher, this is to be celebrated so that our students will grow in confidents and ability. This process will be reviewed at the end of the year with a view to rolling it out to every subject in every year group.
