Meitheal Week 2022
❤ Meitheal Week ❤ is on next week from 5th to the 7th of October😊.
There are activities/initiatives set up for the students and all staff are welcome to join in on everything we have planned! We hope that you will be as excited as we are about the upcoming week. As tutorial, SPHE and Wellbeing classes are timetabled throughout the week at different times, please use the resources below as you please.

Be the reason someone smiles
There will be a large poster in the foyer called “Be the reason someone smiles” Students are encouraged to complete random acts of kindness and to tell their teachers about it. If you could send students who complete it down to the wall to sign their names, we will pick a random name at the end of the week for a prize.
CPSetanta Heroes 👨🚒
We have created a form for the students and staff to fill out whereby they or you can nominate someone who has done something nice for someone or their community during these difficult times. We are going to read out some of the nominations over the intercom at the end of every day. Let's make a big deal of our everyday heroes!

Art Competition 🎨
Design a Wellbeing Poster– we are asking for any of our more creative students to design a Wellbeing poster/affirmation for the college. Good luck!! Send your idea or design to guidance@cpsetanta.ie by the end of Meitheal Week or drop it into our offices. There will be a prize for the best poster (Fri 7th Oct 2022)

- Whole School meditation will happen Wednesday period 2 over the intercom.🧘♂️
- NO HOMEWORK FOR ALL STUDENTS- THIS MEANS THAT THERE IS NO HOMEWORK DUE ON THAT THURSDAY.

- Non uniform day for all students- no money collected . 👗👕👚🎀
Staff Activities
Pick something from the Wellbeing Padlet to switch off, read some affirmations, try some meditation, play a board game…..
Buddy Up 🏇
Each staff member has been buddied up with another staff member. Your buddy’s name will be in your pigeon hole on Wednesday morning. Please be extra kind to your buddy for the duration of the week. Random acts of kindness that you might consider for your buddy during this time might involve:
- Do their lunch duty
- Ask them how they are doing?
- Make them a cup of tea
- Pay their mortgage/rent
- Wash their car
- Buy them a treat

Staff Yoga 🧘♀️
The parent's association have kindly allowed us to take part in yoga in the hall free of charge on Friday at 12:30. You just need to bring a mat and wear loose clothing. 😊
