Parents Association

The Parents Association of Coláiste Pobail Setanta play a vital role in our College. The Parent's Association gives parents an opportunity to voice their opinions and ideas on the education of their children and issues within the school community. The Parent's Association meet once a month in the College and are involved in the development of school policies that are ongoing. The Association has two representatives on the Board of Management of the School.

The Association also fosters in every way its social and cultural values into the fabric of the college. To date the Parent's Association have participated in fundraising activities for the school, such as fundraising for the College Defibrillator. The Parent's Association have also sponsored the Inter - Class Basketball Competition and organised Information Evenings for Parent's and Guardians on pertinent issues, such as "A Parent's Guide to Surviving the Teenage Years".  They also have produced the following Parents Booklet for new students and parents coming to the school. 'Parents Handbook 2014'
